The whole process,
published up front.
You are about to trust somebody with years of your life. Here is everything we do, what it costs you, and what you keep. Read it before you send us anything.
The review is the gate.
Every book entering this house passes one review. It is the only decision point. If a manuscript does not pass, we tell you why — in writing, and usefully — and you keep the notes.
Read blind
Your manuscript is read for what it is on the page. Name, following and prior sales are not part of the first read.
Written assessment
Structure, pacing, character, voice, market. What works, what does not, and what the book could be.
The verdict
Pass, revise, or decline. Revise is a real answer — with the door held open and a date to come back.
Agree a pack
Only after a pass do we quote production. Scope and price are agreed before anything begins.
What we look for — and what we will not do.
A visible standard is worth more than a friendly promise. This is ours, in public.
A book that could not be anyone else's
A voice we have not heard before. A story with a reason to exist beyond the market it might sell to. Sentences that have been worked. A writer who can take notes without losing the thing that made the book theirs.
Take everything we are offered
We are a small house with a curated list. Saying yes to a book we cannot serve properly would be a betrayal of the author, not a kindness to them. Most invited manuscripts do not become house titles.
Your copyright. Always.
We take no ownership of your work. Publishing rights are agreed for a defined term and territory, in writing, and they come back to you. You will never be asked to sign over your book to be published by this house.
What everything costs, in advance
Fixed-scope packages with a fixed price quoted before work starts. No hourly billing, no surprises at the end, no charge for the review if we decline your book.
The things writers actually ask.
Are you open for submissions?
Not for unsolicited manuscripts. Submissions are by invitation. Send an enquiry anyway — if there is a reason we should read your book, tell us what it is.
Do I have to pay to be published?
Packs 02–04 are paid production packages — you are buying editing, design, production and launch work at a fixed price. Pack 01, the read, is the only cost before a decision, and it is never charged if we decline the book.
How long does it take?
The review is 15 working days for an invited manuscript. Production is agreed per title and written into your schedule before we start — you will have real dates, not a range.
What if my book is not ready?
Then we say so, and we tell you what would make it ready. A revise verdict holds your place and a date to return. That is a better outcome than a polite rejection.
Do you publish audiobooks?
Yes — audiobook production is a house capability, not an afterthought, and it is included in The Launch pack.
Send us the enquiry.
Three minutes now, a real answer later. If we are not the right house for your book we will still tell you what we think it needs.
